Another Brick in the Wall

Monday, September 7th, 2015

The Winter is behind us and yes I’m sporting a number 2 crew cut again. The album I’m holding against red bricks was an original vinyl I purchased as a teenager. As far as I know it still doesn’t have scratches. In contrast, I have scars and scratches from head to toe and I ended up conforming in my 40s with a decade at University doing two degrees – an undergraduate in computing and an MBA. We really are all just bricks in the wall.

I Tip my Hat to you, Sir

Friday, September 4th, 2015

I tip my hat to you, Sir. This photograph is a tangible reminder that I am a maker of imperfect photographs; an imposter among photographers; a walking Faraday cage for competent ideas and discussion. I’m the amateur photographer. The man with the hat and the white beard who burns through film like a slow moving cigarette butt on a teenager’s pristine forearm. High art is merely the shadow of my left testicle against a white picket fence. Don’t be fooled by the camera.
